This is a real find. This 90 minute color video is the entire legendary Unusual Concert, filmed in Moscow in 1972 under Obratsov's personal supervision, with a short introduction by Sergei Obratsov himself (in Russian). The performance is almost all musical, with brief introductions in Russian. It is a hilarious send-off of Vaudeville performers, realized with superbly stylized rod puppets expertly operated by over a dozen puppeteers.

In addition, this DVD version was designed with non-Russian speakers in mind. The DVD is chaptered into 18 tracks which can be used to bypass all the Russian narration, and cut to the beginning of each musical number.

It is beautifully filmed in color, and a must for any puppetry video library.
